I got to know John, whilst in his career role as a GP, when I started at the same surgery in 2008. He was welcoming and friendly and always had an anecdote or joke at the ready for you. He helped me feel ‘at home’ at the surgery and i will always be grateful to him for that. The jokes kept coming over the years and so too did the smiles that came from them. Patients still enquire about him now and many have expressed their sense of loss at the sad news of him passing. Thank you again John, rest in peace.
